Master Of Light, 30 Years of Georges Hobeika
Editorial Content Strategy · Real-Time Social Production ·
Overview
To celebrate 30 years of Georges Hobeika, Harper’s Bazaar Arabia hosted an exclusive event at Studio 152. I was brought on to lead the Bazaar content plan strategy and execute live event coverage across social platforms.
My Role
1. Content Strategy & Planning
I developed a tailored content plan designed to:
Position Bazaar at the center of the cultural moment
Balance heritage storytelling with real-time social relevance
Maximise reach across Instagram (feed, reels, stories)
Create layered content: hero moments, designer insights, guest arrivals, detail shots
The strategy focused on elevating the anniversary beyond a standard event recap — framing it as a milestone in regional couture history.
2. Live Content Capture & Publishing
On-site, I:
Shot and edited live video content
Captured key dinner and exhibition moments
Published in real time across stories and reels
Balanced speed with brand tone and visual consistency
This ensured Bazaar owned the digital conversation as the event unfolded, rather than reporting retrospectively.
Strategic Approach
Editorial-first social: Treated social as a live extension of the magazine’s authority
Luxury pacing: Curated, intentional storytelling
Cultural framing: Positioned Hobeika’s 30-year milestone within regional fashion legacy
Multi-format output: Reels for reach, stories for immersion, feed for longevity
Outcome
Elevated real-time engagement during the event window
Strengthened Bazaar’s authority within regional luxury fashion
Created evergreen video assets extending beyond the event night
Reinforced the publication’s role as both media authority and cultural documentarian
